Estabilished in 1967 as a family run business, Northwest Mountain Bikes is a leading independent bike shop with a wide range of bicycles across all the cycling catergories. We stock Mountain bikes, XC and Downhill, Road bikes, Commuter bikes and BMX.
We offer expert guidance for all purchases, whether you are a beginner or a long term rider. Our staff are all enthusiasts and are happy to share their knowledge and experience with you.
Northwest Mountain Bikes has a highly regarded workshop offering servicing on all types of bikes, and run by profession team mechanics.
If utilising mail order, prior to dispatch, all full sized bicycles are assembled and inspected by our qualified Cytech mechanics. These bikes will then be partially disassembled and placed in a cycle box ready for shipping. On receipt of your bike some assembly will be required, which may include attaching pedals, front wheel, seat pin, handle bar and stem. Single speed kid's bikes and BMX bikes will be also built by our staff, and will require only minimul setup on delivery.
Northwest Mountain Bike Centre is located just off Junction 2 of the M60 motorway near Stockport, Cheshire. We have a large private car park available for customers. We are open 6 days a week, and our opening times are as follows...
